Laser Lipolysis

What is Laser Lipolysis? (Laser Lipo)

Lipo Laser is a non-invasive fat treatment method that emits low levels of laser energy, which creates a chemical signal in the fat cells and breaks down the triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol. These chemicals are then released through channels in the cell membranes and are then used in the process of metabolism for energy.
The process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when it needs to use stored energy reserves, without damaging any other structures in the body.

What does it do for my body? (benefits)

Lipo laser targets fat in certain areas of the body and helps the body detox this fat through a natural process.

What to expect:

  • How does it feel?: Mostly feels like nothing, some people feel subtle warmth on the skin.
  • How long?: 20-30 minutes (depends on the treatment or package chosen)
  • What to wear?: Wear comfortable clothing that allows the treatment area to be exposed.
  • What will you do?: You will lie on the bed and relax.
  • What will the therapist do?: Wrap an elastic strap around the treatment area and insert the laser lipo pads between the skin and the elastic band.
  • How often?: Any time from 48 – 72 hours after the previous session. (allows the body to eliminate the fat between sessions)

  • Exercise, of any form, is recommended for the fat to detox from the body faster and more effective.
  • Massage, dry brush, or gua sha massage the area treated to continuously promote blood flow and eliminate fat, cellulite, and firm skin.
  • Alcohol should be avoided for 24-72 hours after sessions. (the liver is busy getting rid of the fat and when you drink alcohol the fat is stored again.)
  • Lessen caffeine intake between sessions
  • Drink plenty of water
Healthy eating, avoid fast foods and fatty foods.
